ReNew Recycled Warehouse Project
The goal is to use recycled materials to build structures that expand our ability to store and sell materials while increasing training opportunities. We broke ground August 2009, with sitework (including pervious pavement - check out this video!) completed. We have been raising the pole barn (deconstructed from Agway) using our own forces, with a community of volunteers. Interior renovations will occur 2010-11, with final build-out conditional upon raising the needed funds. View the existing conditions and scheduled sitework and building.
Thanks to a challenge grant from the Thomas Thompson Trust, secure on-line donations for this project will be matched when made through GuideStar.
We have re-erected the denailing shed, and are planning to move the north chain-link gates the week of July 6th.
